Some time ago I was looking for wrist watches. I wanted a beautiful, modern and minimalist watch, as durable and robust as possible. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Most manufacturers often saved on durability.
Result: The watch glass was scratched or broken after months, batteries lasted only one to two years or the processing was completely underground. Some friends around me didn’t fare much differently – so I decided to create MNMA.

The movement
The watch glass
Here the choice is clear Sapphire crystal is simply the best glass available and has the best properties. The watch cannot get scratched with this glass and is more shatterproof than other glasses.

The watch’s water protection
The higher the ATM specification, the more robust the watch is against water:
1 ATM stands for 1 bar water pressure.
3 ATM / bar is the minimum a watch should have and means that it is at least protected from splashing water.
5 ATMs are good and should be the standard in the range up to 200 euros, unfortunately this is not always the case. With 5 ATM it is possible to take a shower without removing the watch.
When a watch has 10 ATM, it is easy to wear the watch while swimming or snorkeling. Watches with 10 ATM are usually reserved for more expensive price ranges.
20 ATM is the premier class, a water pressure of 20 bar can be withstood and the watch is also suitable for longer dives.
The maximum watch height
Depends on individual taste, but the flatter a watch, the more comfortable it is to wear on the wrist. If the flat watch is worn with a shirt, for example, it is also more convenient as it can be covered more easily. I personally find anything over 9-10 mm less comfortable to wear.

Which price range is the right one for me for the nice modern men’s watches?
Depending on income and living conditions, men have more or less additional money for accessories per month. If you are starting to teach or are fresh out of college, a watch in the price range up to 200 euros is a good choice. For men who, for example, often go to business meetings and are sufficiently established in their profession, the price range up to 500 euros or 1000 euros can also be interesting.

However, there are often other weak points that can reduce the life of the watch. In this case, it is best to keep an eye out for the higher-priced segment of watches with prices between 100 and 200 euros and speculate on price reductions there at the set price limit.
Price range up to 200 euros
More quality is offered in the price range up to 200 euros. But there are also manufacturers who shine with 1 – 2 high-quality components and only supplement the remaining innards of the clock with mediocre quality components. After a few months you get angry and we are talking from personal experience that the watch is scratched or the glass is broken. Conclusion – who is the most beautiful (watch) in the whole country?
All watches in the test field are visually stunning for us. With most of the watches for men compared, there is not much to complain about, but the attentive reader will have noticed that almost all manufacturers always have a component that cannot quite hold a candle to the other components in terms of quality. Here it is really difficult to find the egg-laying “whole milk sow”.
