Watches up to 200 euros
In our opinion, the top 3+1 men’s watches up to 200 euros + cheap online purchase recommendation
3 out of 4 models offer you genuine sapphire crystal. Hardlex glass, in the SEIKO model, is also not to be underestimated but does not quite come close to the scratch resistance of sapphire glass.
The models have high quality quartz movements from Japan from e.g. Miyota, SEIKO or give you a quartz movement from a Swiss manufacturer like Ronda, which is installed on the MNMA.
All watches have at least 5 ATM water resistance, the SEIKO offers you even 10 ATM is with 11mm but quite high. The other models are between 7 and 8 mm watch height.
With all four watch models, you get a lot for your money.

Watches up to 100 Euro
In our opinion the top 3 men’s watches up to 100 euros + cheap online purchase recommendation
Our favorite models in the price range up to 100 euros score points with very different strengths. The Casio G-Shock gives you an astronomical 20 bar water resistance for 100 euros and shines with a digital display. The Tommy Hilfiger is very thin with a depth of just 6 mm and a very good design. The S.Oliver model also has a very good 10 atm water depth in this price range. However, if you are looking for sapphire crystal, you should look around at our MNMA from 139 euros. You won’t find a model with real sapphire crystal much cheaper.

Watches up to 50 Euro
In our opinion the top 3 low-cost men’s watches up to 50 euros + cheap online purchase recommendation
In the price range up to 50 euros, we recommend watches with solid mineral glass and otherwise good design. The 3 selected favorites give you everything you need. The Caso MTP 1302PD-2AVEF also gives you 5 atm water depth, which is exceptional in this price range. The golden retro watch, which also comes from Casio, is also always worth recommending, as the many good reviews show. The Greentreen wooden clock, on the other hand, scores with the material wood.

Bauhaus watches with automatic movement
In our opinion the top 3 Bauhaus watches with automatic movement + online purchase recommendation
Bauhaus clocks have always been something special with their reduced design. Our 3 favorites each have very good automatic movements with 24-26 jewels. Depending on the budget, you have to be ready to put on the table from just under 500 euros to get a rendezvous with the timelessness. If you want, as in the case of the Botta model, high-quality sapphire crystal in combination with an automatic movement and a noble design, you can quickly even exceed 1000 euros.

The best pilot watches for men
In our opinion the top 3 of the most beautiful or best pilot’s watches for men + online purchase recommendation
Pilot’s watches look back on a long tradition and impress with their functional design. Some of our 3 favorites shine with sapphire crystal like the classic from Junghans. The Seiko, on the other hand, comes with an excellent automatic movement, whereas the Citizen model with its Eco-Drive watch movement pleases.

Price ranges
What price range is right for me in the best men’s watches?
Depending on income and living conditions, how much money does a man have left for additional accessories per month? If you are coming directly from university or are in training, watches up to 200 euros are a good choice. For men who earn accordingly, who often attend business meetings, etc. and have sufficient status in their profession, the price range of up to 500 euros or 1,000 euros is also interesting. The most important thing is to match your favorite clothes with your jewelry.
A maximum of 3 to 4 different shades is a good value that should not be exceeded in the complete outfit.
In addition, the watch size at the time of purchase should play a role depending on the size of your wrist. For example, a watch with a diameter of 40-42 mm is usually a very suitable size for most wrists. However, for very wide wrists, it is recommended to use a case with a maximum of 45 or 46 mm. For many years, people have been using 40mm as the measurement standard, and the trend for men’s watches is usually towards 42mm. (See various Rolex classics)
Price range 0-50 Euro
The rule of thumb in this area is not to expect too much. However, you can take our TOP-3 with confidence. The quality of these watches is usually enough to wear the models for months without worries, but the long-term durability is more like a gamble. If you often want to wear a new watch and also the possible loss of your piece of jewelry does not hurt you, then this area is the right choice for you. (E.g. due to component failure or scratches on the display).
Price range up to 100 euros.
In the price range from 50 to 100 euros, the competition is fierce and in terms of quality it is possible to find a watch that will remain stylish and quality sublime for a long time. In most cases, the manufacturers of such watches focus on some specific features that make them look especially high-end (for example, a certain water resistance). However, there are usually other weaknesses that shorten the life of the watch.
My recommendation: In this case, it is best to look for a higher priced watch with a price between 100 and 200 euros and wait for a price reduction below the set price limit or just go a few euros above the intended limit.
Price range up to 200 euros
Higher quality is offered in the price range of up to 200 euros. Analogous to the watches up to 100 Euros, however, there are also some manufacturers that shine with 1 – 2 high-quality components and only supplement the rest of the watch with components of medium quality. For example, manufacturers install a good movement, but install easily scratched watch glass. .After a few months, the annoyance is often great when the watch is scratched or the glass is broken. However, with enough research, you can get some very good quality men’s watches in this price range.
Price range up to 500 Euro
Watches up to 500 Euros give you a better chance of getting the perfect package than, for example, watches up to 200 Euros, but there are also manufacturers who make their name paid for and whose components are sometimes also built into watches up to 100 Euros. There doesn’t have to be anything bad about it per se, but it’s also a matter of expectation if you want to pay that kind of money for a wristwatch. In our opinion, a watch in the price range of up to 500 euros should be of solid quality with a long service life. In this range you get already quite good watches with e.g. automatic movement or very high quality 10 – 20 ATM(rare) water depth.
Price range up to 1000 Euro
Here you slowly get into the premium class. You can expect a water depth of 20 ATM. Established brands like SEIKO*, Tissot*or Hamilton can be found here with their premium collection but also brands that represent the popular Bauhaus design like Junghans. Furthermore, automatic movements are often used in this price range, like the ETA C07.611/621 with a power reserve of about 80 hours or the Eta 2824. You can find out more about automatic watches under our article on the best automatic watches in the Bauhaus style .
